Ariel is a dreamer. In elementary school she was placed far from the windows. Throughout her life she has expressed her imagination in various art forms, including music, dance, physical theater, poetry, painting and photography.
As a child she called her drawings “abstract” if people were puzzled. She’s long had an obsession with the color blue. Her first painting teacher, 2009, Mary Tudor, noticed many expressions entirely of various blues. Ariel was seeking a palette of azure-cyan-cobalt-cerulean-sapphire-lapis-turquoise.
Her only hobby collection is decades worth of ticket stubs and programs from varied cultural events she has attended.
Ariel currently lives in Seattle with one man, one cat and one dog. Over time she has dwelled with well over fifty beings from various animal families, including people, and three bird species (a dozen little “dinosaurs”). Only two were blue.
